Measure in mm Measure 1st with bike on stand and no rider aboard Measure 2nd with bike off stand and rider aboard Subtract the two measurements to get preload Record the preload	Start counting number of clicks by turning the compression adjuster clockwise (harder), until it stops Record the number of clicks Turn compression adjuster back counterclockwise (softer) to its setting	Start counting number of clicks by turning the rebound adjuster clockwise (harder), until it stops Record the number of clicks Turn rebound adjuster back counterclockwise (softer) to its setting.	If your bike has the stock spring, look up in your owner’s manual the spring rate Record the spring rate

If your bike has the stock fork oil level, look up in your owner’ s manual the oil level Record the oil level If the bike does not have the stock fork oil level, record the level you changed it to	If your bike has the stock fork oil, look up in your owner’s manual the oil viscosity Record the oil viscosity If the bike doesn’t have stock fork oil, record the oil viscosity you are using.	Measure in mm Measure the distance between the top of the triple clamp and the top of the fork tube Record the measurement.	If your bike has stock fork springs, look up in your owner’s manual the spring rate Record the spring rate If bike doesn’t have stock fork springs, record the spring rate for the springs you’re using.
